Collaborative project with Zé Kielwagen for The Ghetto Biennale in Port-au-Prince Haiti. First World artists were asked to “Respond to ‘The Market’ from the local to the Global.” The artists purchased rice from Haiti that was slated for export and constructed a monolith in the capital. The people of Haiti then deconstructed this monolith by taking back the rice.
