Ryan Groendyk is an artist currently living and working in New Orleans, Louisiana. His work has been shown throughout the United States and internationally in Brazil and Haiti.

Ryan has been freelancing as an independent artist and designer since 2006. He provides graphic design, CAD drawings, print designs, fine art, illustration, photography, videography, and general creative direction.

He is currently working as a Visual Arts teacher at The New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. In the past he has also worked as an an art teacher at Michigan State University and Country Day Creative Arts. He has taught courses in 3D Form, Digital Fabrication, Electronic Art & Intermedia, and Shapeshifting Landscapes – a large scale exterior Sculpture class for kids. He also has background in Screen Printing and was the lead Designer at VGKids in Ypsilanti Michigan and The InkWell Press in New Orleans.

While not making art he enjoys running, vintage steel bicycles, cooking vegan meals, listening to weird music, fermenting things, and playing chess.
